Follow the instructions below and you're sure to get it to work.

If your forum is in the root directory (i.e. http://www.yoursite.com takes you to your forum), then follow this instruction (pollix came up with this idea):

1. Go to notepad and save the file as htaccess.txt. Leave the file empty (0 byte).

2. Upload it to your root directory (same place where your index.php is)

3. Change the file name to .htaccess

4. Through a ftp client (I recommend FlashFXP), right click on the file and choose edit. It should take you to a blank text. Enter this in the text field:

5. Save the file and you're done.

Ik denk dat het .html moet zijn. Anders word hij meestal niet automatisch geopend en er staat dat het voor een phpBB2 forum bedoeld is. Dan moeten ze volgensmij wel weten dat index.php al bestaat.
